I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times. Both state that the devices are working properly and drivers are installed. This will eliminate your USB mouse driver from being loaded on every start if that is the problem. KILL IT! Evrything is working fine and show up in Device Manager etc just like it is suppose to.I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to keep the "Found New Hardware" If you wish to undo this restore point you will need to go back into system restore. It could be that xp is still looking for a/the driver. Hardware Manager shows no conflicts on any hardware or any bad drivers.Click to expand...
Here's what we been able to determine from the log files.On 4/8/2012, Windows detected 2 new instances of the printer. I couldn't pick a restore point from the moment the problem existed as in few months ago. Last night before I shut down both drives were present and working, this morning they are extinct.I attempted to physically uninstall/reinstall both drives and still nothing anywhere. like finally!

I logon into my laptop by using admin ID and always as admin as I don't create any other accounts. There are 3 files involved. This path is defined in the following registry location and is set to %SystemRoot%\Inf by default: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\DevicePath: REG_EXPAND_SZ:%SystemRoot%\Inf Setup uses this path to locate .inf files for device installation. Log files that go along with that may detail if this is the issue.

What Service Pack level is installed? Since my drivers are now in good shape, how do I get this annoying screen to go away?
